Welcome to the Albuquerque Area Indian Health Board, Inc. (AAIHB) website. AAHIB is an Indian-owned and operated nonprofit organization that serves tribal communities in New Mexico, southern Colorado, and west Texas. We offer diverse health promotion and prevention educations programs, as well as specialized public health services. Our goal is to positively impact the health and well-being of the communities we serve.

Member Tribes


The communities represented and served by the AAIHB include: Ramah Band of Navajos, Mescalero Apache Tribe, Jicarilla Apache Nation, Ute Mountain Ute Tribe, and Southern Ute Indian Tribe.
