Lori Workizer received her master’s degree in California in 1993 and her clinical doctorate in audiology (AuD) in 2007 from A.T. Still University in Arizona.  She started her career in retail audiology but did not enjoy the “sales” aspect of the job.  She considered leaving the field but was rescued by her job at AAIHB. She began working with the Pueblo Audiology Program at AAIHB in 2002 and now works with both pueblo and tribal communities.  She loves her job and the opportunity to work with many wonderful patients and communities.  She is very grateful to work in a program that promotes health and wellness where she can provide her patients with the best hearing technology available.  Although she was raised in California, she loves living in New Mexico and considers this to be her home.  She loves traveling and spending time with her family.  She also takes in senior and broken-down dogs whenever she is able.
