Bio: 

Santi Begaye is from the Pueblos of San Ildefonso and Acoma. He moved to the Albuquerque Area in 2017 to work for the Albuquerque Area Indian Health Board as an Audiology Assistant. In 2021, he joined the Community Health Education & Resiliency Program as the Administrative Assistant. He enjoys working with his new team and learning the new fields of HIV/AIDS and Opioid Use Disorder.

Outside of work, Santi enjoys being with his family for holiday get-togethers and traditional ceremonies on his reservation in San Ildefonso Pueblo. He enjoys going on runs or working out while listening to music, good music always makes for a good workout. He also enjoys being with his fiancé, Timara. The two spend most of their time on food/drink runs and going on movie dates.

Santi always aims for the highest goals and strives to continue learning new tasks to better himself and his community one day. He enjoys what he does and is always willing to contribute to his team in any way.
